Dissident - Molotov

The Dissident Molotov is a 5 x 50 Robusto that uses an Ecuadorian Rojiso wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic as well as Estelí and Ometepe, Nicaragua. It features an artful finish to the cigar’s cap. The cigar is limited to 500 boxes of 20 cigars.

ORIGIN:   Nicaragua

The Glove :

The cigar has a fragrance of Banana leaf, Diameter sugar, cedar, Grains of Paradise, Dried Goji berry, Cherry blossom, And Nettle

The Draw :

The cold draw is earthly with a minty note to it. It’s slightly spicy with a tingling sensation on the tongue much like a Saskatchewan peppercorn, and the back note that lingers of a pine cone tea.

The First :

There are notes of Latex, black cardamom, malt, toasted walnuts, Cherry wood, blue corn, a sweetness that is very delicate like plumeria with a spice note hitting in the back like of green pepper corns.

The Second :

The second has notes of vanillin, apple blossom, gray salt, potato bread, parsley, blanched almond, flint, thyme, and toasted black tea.

The Third :

The last bit of the cigar has notes of Arkansas black apples, alfalfa, thyme, Milo wood, pink pepper corns, freeze dried raspberries, and a spice note that is still dominant in this like of cracked ginger.

The Draw :

The draw is consistent throughout

The Burn :

The burn is consistent and even with no need to relight

The appearance :

The cigar is wrapped with a top that’s reminiscent of a bow.

Final thoughts :

92 Points

This is a medium to heavy cigar that is very good and I recommend to anyone who is an avid cigar person and wants to try a unique and very flavorful Cigar. I do not recommend this to someone who is use to lighter cigars or is sensitive to smoke or nicotine.
